This was one of my favorite hikes on this trip.  We only hiked into the top of the canyon for a few hours.  We met backpackers that were doing it as an overnighter.  Here is a good link for information on hiking Buckskin Gulch Canyon.
Camp in a near by camp ground.
Sunset.
We decided that since our picnic area was covered we would just sleep under the roof.
Entering the canyon.
It looks pretty narrow at the beginning.
Sand cascading off the canyon walls.
The canyon is getting narrower.
Believe me that water is cold.
This lets you know how high the flash flood waters can get.
Taken by my husband.
A more open wash with trees and other plants.
A great hike.  We can't wait to go back and backpack this and the Paria Canyon.
